Melting gold flakes and flour to make bars of gold......not pure but around 95% gold 5% silver........do take care if you melt down your gold.....things can go wrong and fire/burns are the results plus gold lose is a bad thing.

The main impurties of row gold nuggets are silver and copper.
99%+ gold is obtained by electrolytic processes.
I use a turbo torch ... I use a turbo torch with Mapp gas - it is the one with dual gas tubes ' it really gets super hot in? half the time as a single gas tube torch.By the way' I really liked the Winchester in the video' I collect them too.

The mold is made of ... The mold is made of a high quality? tool steel............I need to put more heat to the mold

Metal Detecting with Gold Bug 2. 4 years. found over 2 ozs. One nugget 11.4 Grams. I would like to do it again my wife got Dersert Fever there so were back to Michigan. Note! your vidios are the best keep up the good job. Oh by the way i found my nugget i dought 6ft. X 6ft. X 20ft. and only found about 1 penny wt. LOL RON.

The easiest way is to use Borax the get the gold to move and help with? the pour.
I want a second torch to heat mold and smooth out the pour as well.
There are very many ways to melt or smelt gold with many different fluxes mixes.
I shouldn't really get to what's what because it's fairly new to me but it's another
must knows as a prospector and this never ending quest.
